What's actually included in LINE integration
Most customer communication in Taiwan's service industry already happens on LINE. Redirecting the booking flow to an external webpage means asking customers to leave that familiar environment — and in practice, many simply give up and send a message asking for availability instead.
This platform builds the entire booking flow on top of LINE's built-in browser framework (LIFF). Once customers enter through the rich menu, they stay within the LINE environment throughout. Their identity is passed in automatically by LINE — no separate registration or login required.
Current features include booking, class scheduling, session card and point redemption, booking notifications and broadcast messaging, and rich menu configuration. Not yet supported: stamp cards, digital membership cards, and similar loyalty card features. If those are your primary need, this platform may not be the right fit.
What customers see inside LINE
Customers enter through the rich menu and see a tabbed interface. All content is pulled directly from your website backend — no need to maintain a separate copy.
Class booking
Services are displayed as cards with optional thumbnail images. Customers tap to select a date, time slot, and fill in their details. For businesses with a class schedule, each session shows the time, instructor, and remaining spots.
Pass packages
Browse available session cards and point packages. Items with a listed original price display the promotional price with a strikethrough. After purchase, customers follow a bank transfer flow, and the card is issued once payment is confirmed.
Our instructors
Photos and bios are pulled from the Team section of your website, so customers can choose an instructor without having to ask separately. If no instructor profiles are set up, this tab is automatically hidden.
My bookings
Customers can view their upcoming and past bookings, and cancel on their own within the cancellation window. The window is set per service, and spots are released immediately upon cancellation.
About us
Address, phone number, and social links are pulled from your footer settings, so customers can get directions or call directly from the same screen.
Identity carried over automatically
Customers who enter via LINE are already identified — no registration or login needed. Booking history is automatically linked to their member profile.
Passes, points, and session deductions
Repeat-visit services typically rely on session cards to drive repeat purchases, and the main overhead of managing those cards is reconciling balances. Balances are calculated by the system, and both customers and business owners see the same numbers.
Two formats: passes and points
Session cards are tied to specific services and counted in sessions; points can be used across services. Both can be used together. Pricing and expiry are set by the business.
Automatically deducted at booking
When a customer books using a session card, sessions are deducted in real time. If the balance is insufficient, they're blocked before the booking is submitted. Cancellations automatically return the session — no manual adjustment needed.
Pass activation sent via LINE
Once you confirm the bank transfer and issue the card, a notification is pushed to the customer's LINE. Members who joined via LINE don't have a verified email address, so email notifications won't reach them — this LINE push is the only reliable delivery channel.
Preview before sending
Card issuance notifications are not sent automatically by default. The backend shows a preview of the message with variables filled in, so you can review or edit before sending. Switch to automatic mode and the system sends it for you.
Booking notifications and broadcasts
LINE Official Account messaging is billed by LINE, so the platform separates essential notifications from proactive marketing into two distinct flows.
Booking confirmation push
Once you confirm a booking in the backend, a confirmation message is pushed to the customer's LINE — including the service, time, and location. No need for customers to dig back through the chat history.
Broadcast messages
Send announcements, class cancellation notices, or promotional messages to members who have added your account as a friend. The remaining message quota for the month is shown before sending, so you won't accidentally exceed LINE's free tier.
Friend status check
Logging in with LINE and adding the Official Account as a friend are two separate actions. Customers who haven't added the account as a friend cannot receive any push notifications. The backend lets you check friend status in bulk to identify who can't be reached.
Connection test
Once configured, you can send a test push notification to verify that your credentials and permissions are set up correctly before going live.
Set up your rich menu directly in the backend
The rich menu is the entry point for all features. The built-in editor lets you configure everything and sync it directly to LINE — no need to create graphics or upload them separately.
Built-in layout templates
Choose a grid layout and apply a platform template — button icons are generated automatically. You can also use a custom image; size specs are shown in the editor.
Twelve button actions
Each cell can be assigned an action: open bookings, my bookings, purchase session cards, a specific page, make a phone call, or an external URL. Once selected, the corresponding URL is generated by the system — no manual assembly needed.
Changes apply instantly
Changes made in the backend are applied directly to your LINE Official Account — no need to go back into LINE's own backend to reconfigure.
How to get set up
Part of the setup must be completed in LINE's developer console, and those settings are spread across several different pages — making this the most common sticking point during onboarding. Here's the full process in order.
Step 1: Create a LINE Official Account
Apply for an account through the LINE Official Account Manager. The Messaging API must be enabled from this backend — not created from the developer console. Doing it in the wrong order creates a channel that cannot be linked to your Official Account.
Step 2: Get your credentials from the LINE Developer Console
Create a Login channel and a Messaging channel, then retrieve the IDs and keys. Both must be switched from "developing" to "published" status — otherwise only the developer can use them.
Step 3: Enter your credentials in AHHA and verify
Enter the credentials into the LINE Integration page in the backend. The system will call LINE directly to verify each setting and flag any issues. Then send a test push to confirm the connection.
Step 4: Set up your rich menu and test on a real device
Edit the rich menu in the backend, assign actions to each cell, and apply it to your Official Account. Finally, run through the full flow on your phone: open the menu, complete a booking, receive the confirmation push, and check your booking history.
Technical support during setup
The settings in step two are spread across four pages in LINE's developer console, and when something is entered incorrectly, the result is usually a feature that simply doesn't respond — not a clear error message. This is the most common sticking point in the entire process.
In practice, most clients can complete the majority of the setup on their own. The parts that tend to need help are a handful of specific steps. Technical support is therefore available on a per-issue basis — you can get help with just the step where you're stuck, without handing over the entire project.
Support covers: credential setup and verification troubleshooting, rich menu layout and action configuration, end-to-end booking flow testing, and post-launch configuration adjustments. You can grant backend access for us to configure on your behalf, or we can walk through it together once.
LINE integration is included in all plans
No extra charges based on number of bookings, members, or messages sent. LINE Official Account messaging fees are billed by LINE directly to your business and are separate from the platform plan.

Frequently asked questions
Q.Do I need a LINE Official Account to get started?
Yes. All LINE integration features — including the rich menu and push notifications — are tied to a LINE Official Account. That said, you can start using the booking system before your account is approved. Once you've registered and set up your services and time slots, you'll get a standalone booking URL that works on any channel. When your Official Account is ready, simply connect it to the rich menu. Your existing bookings and member data won't be affected.
Q.How does LINE Official Account messaging pricing work?
LINE bills the business directly — it's separate from your platform plan. LINE's free tier includes a fixed number of messages per month; additional messages beyond that incur a fee. The platform displays your remaining quota for the month on the broadcast page, so you can check before sending. One-on-one notifications like booking confirmations are classified as reply messages and billed differently from broadcasts. For the exact rules, refer to LINE's official pricing.
Q.Will customers automatically receive notifications after logging in with LINE?
Not necessarily. **Logging in with LINE and adding the Official Account as a friend are two separate things.** Customers who haven't added the account as a friend cannot receive any push notifications — and most customers won't realize this distinction. The backend lets you check friend status in bulk to identify who can't be reached. A common approach is to prompt customers to add the account on the booking confirmation page, and include an "Add Friend" button in the rich menu.
Q.How difficult is the setup? Can I do it myself?
The platform itself is straightforward: enter your credentials, run the verification, and set up the rich menu. The more involved part is the LINE developer console — four settings spread across different pages, and when something's wrong, the feature typically just stops responding without telling you which setting is the problem. In practice, most clients get through the majority of the steps on their own. It's usually a few specific points where things stall. Technical support is available for those individual steps — no need to hand over the whole project.
Q.I already have a booking system — can I just use the LINE integration part?
No. The class schedule, session cards, and booking history shown within LINE all come from this platform and cannot be connected to an external booking system. If your current system is working well and you just want a LINE entry point, we'd suggest evaluating the cost of a full migration rather than running two systems side by side. Two systems means two separate sets of booking records — and the ongoing reconciliation cost typically outweighs any time saved by avoiding migration.
